PCLL’s own take on the community pantry: roving distributions of fresh produce and goods, paired with nutritious meals for children and learners.

In many parts of Community Sula and surrounding communities, water is scarce during the summer season. Some residents must fetch water from a river 600 meters away. For the elderly, the sick, and families with young children, this walk is a daily hardship.

PCLL operates a deep well powered by a solar system, providing free water to the poorest community members for washing, laundry, and household use.

The Roving Pantry

The spark of joy in their eyes when they see the vegetables and rice, knowing it is free, makes all the effort worthwhile.

The roving community pantry brings rice, vegetables, and eggs to families in need. PCLL goes to the farthest communities, reaching those who are seldom reached by other relief efforts.
